Privacy Policy
Last updated September 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Amusement Co. Records collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers our website, our membership and ticketing services, and the Amusement Co. Records mobile app (together, the “Services”).
Who we are
Amusement Co. Records operates at 879 E Tabernacle St, St. George, UT 84770. We are the controller of the information described here. Privacy questions: [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect only what the Services need to work. Specifically:
- Account information. Your email address, and a display name if you provide one. We do not store a password — signing in works by a one-time link or 6-digit code sent to your email.
- Membership information. Your membership tier and status, and a Stripe customer identifier that links your account to your subscription. We do not store your card number.
- Ticket and order information. Events and ticket types you purchased, quantity, order status, a Stripe checkout session identifier, and the ticket credentials used for entry. If you buy as a guest, we store the email you provided at checkout.
- Event check-ins. When your ticket or member card is scanned at the door, we record the event, the time, and which staff member scanned it.
- Donations. If you donate through the Services, we record the amount, the campaign or event it applies to, and the associated Stripe record.
- Push notification data (mobile app). If you enable notifications, we store a push token issued by your device's operating system, the platform (iOS or Android), the app version, and which notification categories you turned on.
- Linked accounts. If you choose to connect Discord, we store your Discord user ID so member roles can be applied. You can disconnect it at any time.
- Website analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying page view data as described below.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and the mobile app contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your session active.
- To sell and deliver tickets, and to admit you at the door.
- To create and manage memberships, benefits, presale access, and billing.
- To send transactional email you asked for — sign-in codes, order confirmations, ticket details, and membership notices.
- To send push notifications in the categories you enabled.
- To understand which pages and events draw interest, in aggregate.
- To prevent fraud, duplicate or counterfeit tickets, and abuse of our systems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We share information with a small number of processors, only as needed to run the Services:
- Stripe — payment processing for tickets, memberships, and donations. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store them.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, database, and website analytics.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email.
- Expo and Apple/Google push services — delivery of push notifications to your device.
- Discord — only if you choose to link your Discord account.
Analytics and cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first by design: it sets no tracking cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not follow you across other sites. It records aggregate data such as page paths, referrers, and general device and country information. It honors your browser's Do Not Track setting. We use cookies only where necessary to keep you signed in on the website. The mobile app uses no analytics beacon; your sign-in token is kept in your device's secure storage.
Push notifications
Notifications are opt-in. You choose the categories when you first sign in to the app, and you can change them later in the app's profile screen or turn notifications off entirely in your device settings. Turning them off in device settings stops delivery; removing them in the app also removes your stored push token.
Accounts and the mobile app
Accounts are created when you purchase a ticket or a membership. The mobile app is a sign-in client for an existing account; it does not create accounts and does not offer account management. To change or remove your account information, contact us as described below.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop sending you email or push notifications. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to obtain a copy of your data or to object to certain processing; we honor these requests regardless of where you live.
Some information must be kept even after a deletion request when we have a legal obligation to retain it — most commonly records of completed purchases and donations, which we keep for tax and accounting purposes. We will tell you when this applies.
Data retention
We keep account and membership records while your account is active. Sign-in codes and links expire within minutes and are deleted after use. Ticket orders, check-in records, and donation records are retained as business and tax records. Push tokens are removed when you disable notifications or when the device stops accepting delivery.
Security
Sign-in codes and links are stored only as hashes, expire quickly, and are limited in how often they can be requested. Traffic is encrypted in transit. On mobile, your session token is stored in the device's system keychain. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the amount of information we hold small.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Some events are all-ages; a ticket may be purchased by a parent or guardian on a minor's behalf, in which case the account belongs to the adult purchaser. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you.
